hello guys, though I would give a quick update, I recently played at nationals and had several wins agaist 2000 players and one 2200, went up to usatt 2121 and i am continuing to train hard toward my goals.
another update is that I am currently getting sponsored by gewo, the terms are now in paper and it will soon be official!
Next september it is very likely that I will be going to the GV hennebont table tennis academy for the next 4 years to train, and it will be in two sessions per day for a total of 5.5 hours per day. (yes I was already accepted) I continue to post my progress on instagram at chole table tennis. new series coming out regarding the sponsorship and a new one coming called road to pro A as one of my goals is to play in the pro league in france. I know it will be a tough journey, but whats life without risks, and I believe anything is possible. may be very hard, but not impossible

Now that's a big step forward! I know you were training hard and maybe your coaches were good, but after this you can finally train the amount what is needed for a career in TT! Good luck!

Well, you're definitely committing by moving to France. Is that academy where a lot of top French talent starts off or trains at in France? Or is it more of a facility for amateur/foreigner crowd?

Any updated short term goals?

I have @piligrim on ignore list but unfortunately have to read his BS sometimes when it comes through in quotes. As @zeio pointed out recently, all he is good for are one liners that usually just show his ignorance. So let me explain something for your own good: just because GV Hennebont has a Pro A team, that does not mean the Academy where you are going is where the Pro A players will train. There's a pretty good chance it won't even be where the top juniors in France are training.

The academies associated with famous clubs are usually specifically catered to amateurs and foreigners to help raise money for the main team. They aren't meant to serve as the main training base for the players who represent them in competition. This is the case with Grenzau and Dusseldorf, Bundesliga teams, in Germany. So my question for you is very valid - have they told you which group you'll be training with? Names of specific players at the time you'd be there? What you need to do to be allowed to train with higher groups? That is information you should know before committing.

You can watch this Tom Lodziak video on his experience at GV Hennebont Academy. Look at the other people he is surrounded by - guess what, it isn't Simon Gauzy, Vladimir Sidorenko, or Zhou Qihao.... it is amateurs and Lodziak himself a foreigner!

Here is another video from MyLifeIsRiley where he shows his experience at GV Hennebont Academy. Once again, look at who is there...surprise, not Gauzy! It's amateurs. So anyways, I write all this to caution you in case you are expecting to be rubbing shoulders and learning from the Pro A players that represent the team, not the academy. You won't be.

yes I talked already on zoom calls with nicholas petit, and he said I will be in the academy which is where 30 kids from around the world are selected, not just in france, but many players from ages 12-18.
