More seriously Japan is perhaps the (2nd) best country to be if you like to play TT

honestly I wonder if there’s a tier list for foreign places to stay abroad for table tennis for like a few months at a time.
I think I would place Korea, Taiwan, and Japan at the top because I would expect there’s a higher concentration of accessible tournaments and playing locations.

Honestly I’ve seen videos of just as many JPen users uses multiply without hinoki, unless you wanna hit through spin like Ryu Seung Min, that upper gear is a bit extra.

China has very nice local park playing population and decent players, but the difficulty comes in trying to find a program whereas you can probably get a more well established program in Taiwan with a similar experience and less stress. There just isn't a lot of resources within China for foreign travelers unless you sign up for a high profile program that's pretty expensive.

as you are from Turkye, why not go to Germany. Excellent clubs countrywide and in some cities you would feel right at home because there are a lot of turkish folks already there.

for tt, japan is not ideal as visitor, because many closed-off systems and language barrier.
but if long-term stay, good opportunities.

there are two places you guys overlooked, if you are English speaking or Mandarin speaking: Singapore! Yes this tiniest superpower nation is also strong in TT. They punch above their weight class for a nation so tiny. Hong Kong is another one not to be missed; they speak English as well as Chinese.

Singapore & HK: no language barrier!

i traveled to germany 2-3 times i can't remember the exact number but i only liked kebab shops joke aside i really don't know why but i can't adapt there (i've been to ukraine too but it wasn't like that)
