Stiga has a new campaign started in social media hinting at the release of a new blade. I found this incomplete page on their website. Seems more like a rebranding of the Carbonado 90 to me, but calling it "Destiny" instead. Hopefully they have been more creative though, by introducing something actually new...

Would love to hear how folks like it / reviews. I feel like the way its positioned is interesting but the problem is the price tag. A bit on the more expensive end if its your next step after all wood type of a blade :)
I agree is is a bit too pricey. Entry level carbon blades from Butterfly has similar pricing. Strangely enough though, the Destiny blade is priced lower than the Carbonado 45 right now, at least in the Swedish shop.

One of my clubmates got one, had a quick knock with it and my initial impressions are that its basically just a slower Dynasty. I might have to buy one myself to compare to Aura and Wavy and to fill out my Cybershape collection but the cost isn't very attractive tbh

So, if it's for all-wood players who want to use carbon blade, then I assume it is more into control blade (although it is faster, of course) ???

I think if it's that pricey, at least the QC must be excellent. I have not tried any newer Stiga blades, but the last one that I tried (quite some time ago, before the introduction of cyber shape), the quality does not reflect the higher price.

Carbonado 90 is not that slow. TTgearlabs rating puts it in the same range as Butterfly Harimoto ALC or the newer Innerforce ALC. So my guess is the Destiny would score the same.

I have tried it. It looks great and has really good build quality. It was more stiff than I expected but not as stiff and fast as Cybershape carbon or Viscaria type of blade. But still notably more stiff than a Clipper.
I can confirm that.
I briefly played with one that weighs 90 g. I find the thickness of only 5.6 mm strange compared to a Dynasty Carbon which is 5.9 to 6 mm thick.
It is definitely slower than a Dynasty Carbon. It is more linear, but not nearly as spin-friendly.
I didnt like it at all.

I have tried it for one session. It is like Carbonado 45 or 90 had a baby with Dynasty Carbon. Good amount of speed but slightly lower than Dynasty Carbon but higher than Carbonado 45. Spin is great and it feels very stable and nice on backhand. However, it is very stiff and loop kills are way harder than with Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive.

Quick question? Why is it so silent around this blade since its launch 3 months ago, there are almost no reviews on this blade? Is it because availability or does this product not satisfy any wanted customer need (DOA)?
I personally used the Stiga Cybershape Allround Classic and now transitioned to the Cybershape Wood. So this blade to me does make sense to me progression wise to bridge the gap to the Cybershape Carbon as they advertise
Any thoughts on this?
