Agree. Isn't cybershape suppose to have 11% bigger surface area? so it should be fine with a slight boost to expand the sponge a bit and then transfer to a regular blade later.
The cybershape actually has a much narrower shape towards the bottom of the blade, my brother has one so I have experience with it, so you could to this and transfer the rubber from the cybershape onto a normal shaped blade but the rubber wouldnt cover the entire surface of the blade at the bottom.

Try Loki Arthur China. Many have said its like a boosted H3.
I see that Loki Arthur China to be about $23 a sheet on Aliexpress so I think I will stay with boosted H3. By buying in bulk from TT11, H3 and H3 neo is about $19-$20 a sheet. It only comes with 39 degree hardness from TT11 but I am used to that degree of hardness.

Recently, I have tried Big Dipper and Sanwei Target National. I feel that the advantage of both is that no boosting is required. But I have played and played. They are just not as tacky and spinny as H3 so I am going back to H3. I will still pull out Big Dipper and STN from time to time to see if it is my technique issue but H3 is probably what I will stick with on the forehand side.

finally I got a couple sheets (red and black) of medium hardness for Mercury II. the surface looks tacky. It is $5 a sheet. I am going to try it next week. But outside of that, I have no desire to experiment with hybrid or other chinese rubber on my forehand. I think my EJ'ing on that side is pretty much done done.

Got it. Good to know. I actually played with a club mate's cybershape the other day. he had DNA platinum on both sides. I could not get used to it. It was odd. I only played with it for two minutes but my preliminary impression is that it is interesting but I would not EJ in that area for now. I just think that with normal blade (oval shapes) there are many more choices in terms of compositions of the wood v.s. carbon, and inner carbon v.s. outer carbons, etc. I want to figure that out first.

I did not particularly enjoy the cybershape carbon either, aside from the odd feeling in my hand and the odd handle shape i did not like, the playing qualities are very unusual, i found it was a very very fast blade however it felt like it kicked the blade back in my hand and had a lot of dwell time, a combination which put me off quite a bit.

I just remembered keep on hitting the ball with the wrong part of the blade. And in my follow-through, I keep on staring at the odd shape. It was quite distracting. No desire to EJ right now. Maybe later.

Mercury 2 boosted is a great backhand rubber. Plain I think it is okay, but even with a bit of mineral oil it becomes juicier and more reactive while maintaining its stable, linear nature.

My goal with this setup is to hit the ball like a freight train, landing the ball on the table will simply be an added bonus.
Curious how this blade plays, I have a few Garaydias that I never use, maybe this might be my motivation to use them if you like this setup. IMHO, the dwell time of Golden Tango makes every blade usable.

Thank you for the feedback. I have one sheet of red, being boost with Haifu national yellow right now as we speak. After 24 hours I will put on another layer. Then I am ready to put on my carbon blade and find out if it is any good. I am looking for a forehand rubber so I will see how it performs. Thanks again!

I think it'd be worth a try, Hinoki/carbon seems to be a pairing that works pretty well for GT at least with Primo Carbon and Ignito, and Sardius is essentially just a roided out Primorac Carbon

New SDC blade - TB ALC without the ALC so a tad slower. Paired with Aurus prime (FH) and Select (BH) makes a really nice setup.

How is cyber shape to you? I have an urge just to have it, for the future generations 😁
It's a good blade but nothing super special. For some people, a bit better on flat hits and the thinner neck suits my grip more. Also encourages finishing forward since it has a bit more weight in the head. But I haven't used an innerforce ALC/ZLC in the while, it might be around that speed, though the Koto makes the ball come off a bit different. So if you have money, giving the new version a try is not a bad idea at all.

I wanted to test it with Platinum DNA XH which I am buying this week. Dignics felt too bouncy for me. I think with Golden Tango, I need a faster blade, so if I stick with Golden Tango, I am not going to make Cybershape my main blade unless a coach convinces me I need the consistency over speed/power.

I have more experience with innerforce, only started to tried out outer layer but with hybrids only. With d05/80 ball bounced from outerlayer racket so fast it’s kinda losing control for me.

Maybe trying to buy cybershape, with some stiga rubbers (never used them too), what are should be more close to d09c, or D80? DNA somewhat or Dragon Grip something like that?

Yes, Dragongrip is what they propose for that, maybe if I want to waste more money one day, I will try it. But for me, the attraction of Cybershape was going to a quick release rubber. but maybe for you, coming from innerforce already it might be different. But I will measure the blade frequency when I change the rubbers next for the full picture. It wasn't extremely slow, just slow relative to what I currently use.

I want something different that innerforce feeling ( dunno the reason mhy ), so two blades that i using for the last month is FZDALC and LGY - it’s a tad faster, but I find it more linear, at scoring and losing points 😄

So the one thing that Cybershape has in the plus column is that it is not ALC and it is not limba outer - it is Koto. But it is still innerforce. What that means for your feeling, I don't know, but for me that I hate koto, it makes a tolerable difference. I can't play with Viscaria/FZD/LGY etc.

oh, koto Innerforce - that's pretty interesting, is this only new cybershape carbon edition or the old one too?
For me the main difference is that is koto outercarbon is tad faster, harder and little less spiny (bc ball realising quickly) than limba Innerforce, but as in rubber range it has its pluses and minuses

I have new Ovcharov innerforce that is so quick and hard in feeling - almost like koto outer, maybe I need give it a second chance hmmm

The Cybershape Carbon should still be the same, the new one just has weights to make the blade heavier or lighter in the handle for feeling if the speed of the environment changes. The Cybershape Wood has limba, but that is outside the scope of this conversation lol.
