tired of:
1) shakehand grip - too boring
2) Viscaria not being flexible

If I like this Stuor blade, probably will order DHS 301 (FL) and stick with these two blades.
Man I re-watched so many Ma Lin matches that I really want to play penhold now. Magnificent style he had.

Inner carbon or outer carbon?

I have outer carbon. It is very fast. I would put H3 skyline neo because it is a bit slower than H3 regular neo on forehand. I would then put Xiom Vega Europe in the backhand because again, the blade is very fast. I would not put C-1, Rakza 7 soft, G-1, Xiom Vega Pro, or Tenergy on it.

Acoustic has such an amazing feeling but soft. So better pair up with hard rubbers. Pairs well with both tacky and non tacky

Fastarc G-1 on both sides is the obvious first choice for this blade!

G-1 suits Acoustic very, very well. C-1 on the BH is amazing too.
Unboosted H3 doesn't work well, the ball drops from time to time due to blade elasticity, I think.
Boosted is better.

Question: I am planning to purchase Yasaka Ma Lin Extra offensive and a bit confused: why prott (and AliExpress) both have it for around $80-$90, while tabletennis11 has it for $35-$45 ? Anybody knows whether there's difference between these blades? 🤔

Don't know the diff. In Czech shops you get it for cca 47 EUR. I'd never actually consider buying non-chinese stuff over AliExpress.

NB: The fresh sheet has a distinct smell, it smells exactly like the interior of a new car when you first pick up from the showroom. Is this the smell of factory booster?

I've got my hands on Battle III (both side 39°), so I matched it with a high quality blade offering from Friendship as well (Rose 7). I am excited to see, how this setup will perform.

Once Patrick (thePongProfessor) made a review of a few novelty class Stiga 7 ply allwood blades, and based on the frequency reading I got on this blade, I expect it to behave very similarly to Rosewood NCT VII.

I have to say, the finish of that 729 blade in your pictures looks pretty good. I have bought a few 729 blades a while ago and the quality was always pretty average

Medium hard rubbers 45-50d worked best on it for me. Felt like there was no stability with softer rubbers.

All ESN rubbers smell, it all depends on what was used to boost them. Some boosters are more aggressive than others and some have shorter lifespans (usually the more aggressive ones). Just enjoy and let us know how it plays over time.
