What was the lead time on the blade?Ordered a blade from Sergio at SDC Homemade Blades (#1159 - Outer VC - ALL+/OFF-)
Can't wait to get it and glue my Double Fish Volant Phoenix 1 (39 degrees) and Yinhe Moon Mid-Hard on it

It looks amazing and Sergio did such a great job.
What do you mean by 'lead time' ?What was the lead time on the blade?
I am two clicks away from buying it. Can you share some impressions and comparisons with other blades?Got myself a brand new Goriki Super Drive 93g from TT11. It was on sale, couldn’t reseist.
As I played it years ago and sold it (I still regret it) I had to buy it again.
Craftmanship is exceptional. The grip is a bit thicker than standard Nittaku grip (at least it does not fell very small). The head size is unusual big, but this results in a super controlled feeling. And yeah, you can spin with it like crazy an get superb shots out o fit. The feeling is a bit like hinoki feeling (like Darker 7P-2A or Septear) but also different due to the walnut plys. So I don't know, it's hard to describe. You can't compare it to Viscera or other blades. It's so different but in a positive way.I am two clicks away from buying it. Time from ordering to deliveryWhat do you mean by 'lead time' ?
Ah, okTime from ordering to delivery![]()
Ahh ok, I thought it was way longer!Ah, ok
About 3 weeks. It should arrive this Friday and I told him the specifications on 31st of July.
Here is your level.I have finally accepted my current skill level and got Glayzer for FH and Rozena for BH. Now I have to decide if it goes on Innerforce or Outerforce (or something else)![]()
Rozena and Glayzer have a higher ceiling than most people give them credit for in my opinion.I have finally accepted my current skill level and got Glayzer for FH and Rozena for BH. Now I have to decide if it goes on Innerforce or Outerforce (or something else)![]()
It's a bit of a change in philosophy on my end. Rubbers with a high ceiling are nice and all, but those usually also have higher entry levels.Rozena and Glayzer have a higher ceiling than most people give them credit for in my opinion.
I think you'll find them nice on an outer carbon if you have already played carbon before. Glayzer is fairly forgiving but is also fairly hard, so I think it can feel hard to generate quality on a softer blade.
Just my 2c
Even if we are at a decent level there is still a benefit to the humility of under batting. You at least get to do the thnigs you are capable of doing. Over batting is the most wasteful way to lose. It's a bit of a change in philosophy on my end. Rubbers with a high ceiling are nice and all, but those usually also have higher entry levels.
As much as I love the feeling of Tenergy, but also Hurricane, they require a higher base level than I can consistently bring to the table (pun intended). I guess it's better to hit a ceiling every now and then while having a much better window for the rest of the time.
Last season's Innerforce/Fastarc G-1/C-1 combination was a step in the right direction, I'm taking one more now (I hope) and putting it on Outerforce ALC because it just feels like a good, predictable blade.
I just purchased one more DHS hurricane long 5H at Aliexpress. It doesn't feel like a HL5, but instead more of a feeling a Harimoto super alc/zlc/ZJK szlc. The forehand is pretty decent and backhand good too. If you don't like the forehand of BTY zlc/salc or the backhand of HL5, HL5H compromises and has decent performance on both sides.
Not at all. You can always return it if you find out that it is not authentic. But usually the price of the item indicates it is original or not.You are not afraid to buy blade like this from Aliexpress?
