Hello!

Why does prott.vip ship their products from The Netherlands to me (Germany)? Fake items?

Thank you so much for the reply Mario. Your reply made me feel a lot more confident to buy TT equipment from them.

What type of shipment did you use anyway? From my observation there were 4 shipping methods offered by them;

a. International Packet (30-45 days)
b. EMS (7-20 days)
c. HongKong DHL (3-7 days)
d. HongKong Post (20-30 days)

Rgds,
Aiman

They ship their products to partners to Netherlands and then to Europe.
I received from prott 4+ orders.
Usually it was rubbers, quality is the same as I bought in China.
Every time I choose cheapest standard shipping.

Well, that's a small shopping spree :)

:), I never had to pay import charge - I just had luck.

No to hopefully save you any import charge, maybe you should change your nick ;)

I still had to pay import charge (customs) even though it said NL.

That's very interesting. Cause generally if you are in EU and buy from EU, you don't have to pay. A lot of Chinese sellers do this way. Although they are based in China, they have their warehouses in EU and when someone buys from EU, they ship from their warehouses in EU and the buyer does not have to pay.
Maybe this is a different case: they don't have a warehouse with all custom procedures done and it's just a redistribution center for China mail in Netherlands (just speculating here...).

Is there any info on Prott Vip website?

So how it is?

Yes it was annoying but I think PostNord (Swedish Postal Service) are attentive when seeing Chinese letters on the package and draw the conclusion that it's sent from China even though the tracking number says NL.

when you say import charge you mean custom duties or VAT? Cause if you buy in separate instances I think the purchase price should be below custom duties threshold, but it should be above VAT treshold... at least Long 5 should be for sure...
