I am currently using a ColesTT Buster Combo that has an Air Touch01 blade. I want to replace the 4yr old slick and dusty rubbers with some very cheap options since I already have a decent setup on the way(Korbel / G1 / C1). Much thanks to everyone here who helped me with that.

I actually have 2 of those premades and ideally want to replace all 4 rubbers for under $50. I have been reading up and frequently see budget options like AK47, Mercury 2, RXTON 1, 729 FX, CJ8000.

These will only really be my backups and for fun/experimenting. What 4 rubbers would you buy with that budget? One $40 set of rubbers and one $10 set? Or split it evenly? Or just go cheap as possible on 4 since these aren't gonna get much playing time anyways?

I'm new to EJ so I appreciate yalls advice :)

Mercury 2 and Ak47 would be great budget recommendations. 729 Super fx is far inferior, its best quality is that it stays somewhat playable for ages. This is what we put on loaner bats that get chucked in a closet
