Of course. No one is doubting that. But Sabine is older (33) and her level also varies because of the amount of forehand she has to play. Bernie did a lot of things extremely well, the moat obvious one being that ahe played her backhand down the line a lot to avoid the trap of exchanging backhand to forehand with a pivoter. And with Kaufmann and Han Ying, Winter might not make singles.

But all that said, Winter can play better than ahe did against Bernadette. So the next championship events will be key. Kaufmann already beats Winter and Winter beats Han Ying ans Han Ying beats Kaufmann. And clearly Kaufmann is likely a lock. But a lot can happen in 2 years. Thrre are still two more years of Euros etc.
