Simon Gauzy defeats World number 23 Kim Min Seok! (VIDEO)

The Hungarian Open World Tour 2012 has kicked off to a flying start! This global table tennis event is now into day 3 of the championships.

An outstanding victory by Simon Gauzy against Kim Min Seok in the last 64 round of the men's singles today saw won of his career best wins!

Simon Gauzy defeated Kim Min Seok (WR 23) by 4 games to 1 with scores 8-11, 11-8, 14-12, 11-8, 11-6

Simon's incredible backhand exchanges enabled him to dictate most of the rallies. On many occasions Gauzy was forced away from the table and still managed to attack from a far with either his backhand or forehand. To his delight Kim missed a lot of smashed due to the great depth Simon was producing in his lobs. What a great result for the French player Simon gauzy! He now plays Joao Monteiro in the next round.

Simon Gauzy posted on his twitter account after the victory with this to say, "Beat the 24 in the world ! :)) now -21 at 17 and against Monteiro at 19.30!"
