Softer rubber or hurricane?

Welcome to the dark side (i.e. using Chinese rubber on the forehand side). Did you boost the hurricane? Hurricane 3 neo will become more alive after you break it in a bit. That stickiness will become tacky and the sponge will get a bit softer. That's when the rubber becomes alive.

Never used Jupiter 3 Asia.

I'll buy another next season but harder and i'll boost it. Hurricane 3 Neo 39 degree feels soft even without boost. I wonder if i should do 40 or 41. I didn't find it as tacky as J3a but perhaps this comes of me not boosting it! It feels semi slow which i love about it!

I would not like Jupiter 3 without a booster either. With a booster, this is a completely different rubber. I immediately remove the factory glue from Jupiter 3 from the package and apply a layer of Seamun, rest for a day, then glue and this is a completely different rubber. If this is not done immediately, then two layers are needed with a break of three days.

Well, after a few more training sessions i'd say J3P is a lot better for flicks and hurricane is easier for hard driving. After boosting both rubbers Hurricane got the better outcome. J3N got a bit bouncier and faster. The spin is the same.

i use Hurricane 8 39 degree backhand now, Is slightly bouncy and easy to play. High end shots really make this setup spinny
