I need help in choosing a blade.

I have been saving money for about a year now, with the intention of buying a Butterfly Viscaria. However,I have realised that I might not get the optimum with that blade(because of the carbon),so i would like to buy a 5/7-ply allwood.

I have narrowed my choices to the following:
1)Stiga Infinity VPS V
2)Stiga Clipper wood
3)Stiga Rosewood XO
4)Stiga Intensity NCT

I am a 2-winged controlled looper,bh dominant.

Rubbers that will be used:
FH:DHS Hurricane 3 neo
BH:Butterfly Tenergy 05

I was thinking of the Infinity, but due to the problems experienced by others(plies separating, easy denting),i am doubtful of it.

Second choice is the Clipper due to @UpsidedownCarl's liking for it.however, what worries me is the 7 plies.will it still allow/have enough dwell time for good topspins?

What are your recommendations/experiences?what do you advise?

Thanks.

Rosewood is maybe finest choice. It will give you everything you need for your progress in game and you will not need to change it for long time. But any of these should be good choice because all of those blades are very good all wood blades. What ever you take you will not be sorry

Intensity or Rosewood. The Infinity was fine, but still I preferd Rosewood and Intensity because of NCT. Depends how hard you like it. Intensity is a little bit softer than Rosewood, Rosewood has in the end more power. Are you going to boost your DHS? If yes, Rosewood for the ultimate weapon, otherwise Intensity for softer touch and more catapult.

Intensity has softer touch which is better for hard rubbers. Rosewood is more powerful especially if you drive and loop harder than normal european players...

But H3N isnt good anyway without boosting, a T05 or Vega Pro should work better. But if you need the extra speed because of the dead H3N, then you have to take Rosewood. But its not a big decision, all of them are good :p

I would suggest Intensity due to its light weight (your rubbers are rather heavy) and the NCT technology which offers durability (resistance vs. splintering), but they are all great blades and after some "getting used to it" any of these blades will suit your game. And if you are an amateur player, just pick the one you find more beautiful, the one you would like to hold and practice with every day :)...

Any blade which has a harder topmost ply will offer less dwell time feel. For example, try a blade which has Limba top sheet (ex. Donic Waldner Allplay, Tibhar Stratus Power Wood, Stiga Clipper wood, Stiga Allround Evolution) and the one which has Walnut top sheet (ex. Yasaka Malin Extra offensive) the difference will be evident.
