I am a false beginner. I have played table tennis on and off for many years, though not very well. About 9 months ago I started lessons. I would like some advice on a new blade. It will be primarily used as a backup blade.
My Current setup is an Armstrong 332 Penhold with a modified handle. Yasaka Mark V 1.8 FH / Magic Carbon 1.5 BH.
You can see the blade here:

I had most of the cork on the BH side cut off, sort off like a Rutis C handle setup. I really like this handle, and I am looking for something similar in an wood blade. I also like the lightness of this blade.
Here are the blades I am considering:
1) Another Armstrong 332
2) Nittaku Sou MF (designed with handle I like)

3) TSP WSF Rotor

Since it has the similar handle I like and I can modify it like I did my current blade.
My questions:
- Is it better to stay with the same blade and when my skill level improves I can add new different rubbers?
- What are the advantages of having a different blade as a backup?
- What are the disadvantages of having a different blade as a backup?
Regards,
Joseph
