Why do professionals change sides after each game? I don't think switching sides does anything anyways.

Yup, it is the LAW of TT, but old school players in many nations don't give a rat's arse about the laws of TT.

At my club there is an upstairs and a downstairs. The upstairs has 3 tables, and two of them are very close to a wall. Being a lefty, one side is better than the other, and righties will have the same problem. Switching sides solves it. There are also things like facing an audience, lighting, and table conditions that make it only fair to switch.
