The BEST balance of price and high end performance would be to buy a table that has been used ONCE in a national tourney. Joola and Butterfly are two places to look for these. You will NOT be disappointed in how these perform. Sure, they will not be new, but once you use a new one ONCE it is not ever new.
If you want a new one delivered to your house, then consider a thick top table from Xiom.
