It looks like you are standing a bit on the heels so the weight are not forward? would be much easier to move if you could become a bit more forward with the body and weight.
I like have interested you are in the technique for every stroke. We are probably a bit similar there. I think sometimes maybe we need to focus less on the stroke and more on moving the feet and make the stroke work between backhand and forehand. I believe the chinese focus mostly on the feet and movement. I have had good european coaches, some have been coaches for the national team but when i had a chinese coach it almost became a culture crash. I was learned to focus on the stroke, he mostly focused on the feet. Did shadow play with footwork all the time. He told me i got worse from playing one backhand and one forehand. I have noticed this aswell in players i coach. To much regular exercises and focus on one stroke and they learn to turn up to early, stand still and not move.
