Hahaha another that I noticed is that the playing area is really small! If I were to play there I would be bumping into all the spectators and probably damage my blade and barriers hehe.

That was a nice smack but honestly I can do a FH topspin (against a push or chop) diagonally to left & right of the table, 2 times faster than that which leaves most of my opponents motionless. Nevertheless, a great effort by the bloke. Playing in that small area, even I would've just stood there hahaha. Thanx for sharing mate!

What are you guys talking about..? It aint THE insane shot.. Just a regular slap, and the opponent doesn't react, seems like he doesn't pay attention. It is possible to take it. And I agree with Azlan, there is a chance of just top spinning the ball at the same speed

Btw, the ball from the blue guy is about a mile high, sooo... He should expect a slap or smash. Maybe he just stands there because he knows that he wont be able to reach it in the small court?

Few things on why he does not react at all.
1. The return ball is too high
2. The smash is down-the-line, not easy to anticipate
3. He is a left hander, opponent not used to

Yeah..and he is quite a showman too hahaha you can see how many times he looked at the lady umpire starting from 2:27 in his slap diary video, every time he's done slapping the ball hahaha at least 5 times!! I almost feel sorry for the other guy

I've gotta say, I love Matt's wind up and follow through on the flat hits, and I love how, against choppers he seems to use his loop to set up those flat slaps. Fun to watch.

And it is funny how, when the ump is a female, he keeps looking at her after each slap.
