Thoughts on Vega X and Rakza XX

Today I just tested out these rubbers from a friend.

I really liked the Vega X. It seems like a near perfect substitute for Tenergy 05. It has speed, grip, throw angle, good feeling. Seems like a really great choice for bh.

The Rakza XX felt really weird to me. The bounce and feeling seemed identical to Victas V22. But the throw angle seemed really really low, like Tenergy 64. I found this very uncomfortable.

Do you have same or different experience with these rubbers?

If you compare the X with T 05, compared them in full swing you will see the difference. Rubber potential need to dig deeper to compare.

Vega X is quite far from Tenergy 05. It's like 40% less capable. Significantly less spin and speed, but they both have a very good feeling when playing with them. I like G1 much better, although it feels much harder and less forgiving even though it isn't.

I feel it to be faster than V>22 and that usually leads to a lower throw angle.

Hey Michael, here some links to Anatomic Edge, which you probably know anyway...

Vega X, btw. my exp. and measurement differ, it is/was not that hard...
Rakza XX, didn't try yet, looks very good though (was afraid it will be harder)
