Tools used to cut rubbers

I lick the rubber surface 1/4 the way up the first side of my cut when I use scissors to cut rubbers.

Weird? Gross?

Watch America Football quarterbacks lick their dirty fingers before they handle the bacteria infected ball... They do it ALL the time.

Often when i cut my rubbers, i would use the cardboard square as a base to cut my rubbers on. Shiro, I have used those scissors, tiniy tiny Childrens school scissors, and medic's scissors (pictured below) that can cut through a Soldier's uniform after he is shot... They all work fine for me.
