Who do you think in, say, three years time will be the top-ranked non-Asian men's player? I don't see any dark horses in the pack who may suddenly rise to the top, so I'm saying probably Dimitrij Ovtcharov. I think Boll and Samsonov will still be in the top 20, but not the top 10. Perhaps Baum may make it,also. I wish Sweden had someone who could eventually challenge the top fivehttp://www.ittf.com/ittf_ranking/world_ranking_per_name.asp?Player_ID=107028&U18=0&U21=0&Siniors=1&, but the current top man there is WR #57. :(

Ovtcharov will be Europe's best player for a while. To me Baum's technique and gameplay just doesn't seem good enough to beat the top-Asians.
Top of the younger players would be Franziska, Gauzy and Pitchford who all have potential but they're still far from the top 10.
