Can someone explain the new tournement structure please. I've read it through a few times and cant understand it and it wont let me watch the video.

No idea but I've seen a load of people in FB groups complaining about it.

If it's organised by TTE, no doubt it's a load of rubbish.

They want to have tiered events which happen on the same date in different regions. So all 1*s happen on the same dates across the country, same with 2*s and so on. Also, Grand Prix are cancelled.

Shockingly, all current tournament organisers are against it. Don't know a single tournament player who wanted this.

And yet tte have the gall to claim this is by popular demand.

Pocket Rocket isn't happy about it either.

Jarvis and Hursey both comfortably defeated in qualifying for the SS.

Only Pitchford is left in the competition. No idea what's happened to Paul Drinkhall, is he now retired from international TT? Who knows!

On a brighter note. Connor Green came second in the WTT Youth Contender Tunis earlier this month.

Drinkhall, Jarvis & Tin-Tin all knocked out in the round of 64 at the current WTT feeder in Slovenia.

It's embarrassing tbh.
i'm not sure who the other prospects are, but Louis Price level is just not high for his age. there is no ways he can catch up to be even top 100 in the world, yet alone OPs question on top 20 or 30.

Price is average at best, not even ranked in the top 10 in the UK. The only player i have any hope for in the UK is Connor Green and i doubt that he'll do anything.

I think I saw some matches 1 or 2 years ago,
how old is he now?

Hopefully, the TT365 Honey Bee events will prove to be a better alternative to these silly 4*s.

Sadly, only two of these happened, and none of the results got entered into tt365 despite multiple enquries to the organizer. Looks like it was just a publicity stunt aimed at TTE ...
