There are always another noob that ask serious questions such as: what is the secret of the universe? Why am I here on earth? Why did God create me?

While those questions remain an enigma, fortunately for even more serious question such as:

What should I use for TT?

Here, Unker Gozo will tell you straight up; you should use Butterfly Golden Viscaria with Zyre-03 on FH and Dignics 05 on BH.

A true TT player is right handed, uses shakehand grip and always use butterfly products, nuff' said!

I am honored to be sponsored by Uncle Gozo™ and I will gladly play with the required equipment.
How does it work, do you need my bank details? Or will you ship it directly to me?

Common, what you see here is just a beginner, Gozo™ will materialize it right into your place, probably even with 2+2 layers...

Forzaaa!!!

Gozo, one should think that you were sponsored by Butterfly marketing their products for beginners. For every person that falls into the trap you will get one day ban. 😉

When one gets a Toyota one will usually get either another Toyota or Lexus.

Similar when one uses a Butterfly, one will......

Adrianna Diaz (who has the Toyota & Butterfly logos in her shirt) got hammered by Honoka, a few hours after your post about Butterfly and Toyota. Honoka isn't using any Butterfly products. Pictures in my post are from that game!

So, by luck, I read your post above just after that match, and it seemed a bit funny for me. I had no intention to insult you, Toyota or Butterfly.

Ok, I'll take this topic in a serious way.

I'm a noob, and for me the ultimate blade is my Nittaku Violin (bought half price from an E.J). 5 ply wood, with a great touch. It's like an extension of my hand. It took me at most 5 min to adapt. It is my beloved blade, I'm pretty sure I will never change it. So I think it's worth the price.

For the rubbers, I can't say. Tensors are not adapted for my BH (and who knows, maybe for my FH). The day I need to change my rubbers, I will probably try Commercial DHS neo 3. But so far, as a good noob, I'll stick to the current ones, until they are worn-out.

I'll add some generic, serious advice too:

Get whatever most beginners at the club play. Unless it feels really bad.
If that doesn't work, look at people who play like you and ask them, try their stuff, talk about what they like about their own bat and what not.
If that doesn't work, ask the coach for 2-3 options.
If you don't have a coach, film yourself playing in your element and take it to a store.
If you don't have a store either, take the same video and post it in the Safe Thread asking for equipment advice.

Notice I never mention starting your own thread, asking for advice without visual information or blindly following the store's suggestion:
No visual information means there's really nothing to go on - any advice will be generic and to the taste of the advisor.
