What can you infer about the blade from the sound?

your one side has rubber and second not and you are lefty, and you are pretty week in hitting ball and taking video .. ;-)

I can tell a liittle when I compare blades of the same model, I usually like Viscarias with a lower pitch. But the only way to know for sure is to play with it. Also it has to feel "right" in my hand.

That`s the theory of some people ....
But i do not fully agree

There is definitely a relationship between pitch and speed but there are other factors that can make that relationship imperfect. And you cant use it to compare speed of blades with quite different construction.

We have discussed the pitch method ine the forum.
For me this method can be usefull only if you compare several blades of same model at one and the same place and time and ball.
Comparing blades of different models of same brand, or same construction of different brands, may give true or wrong results and can't be trusted.
Comparitive tables, made of results from people and places all round the world and with all different balls /just look at the balls threads/ can not be trusted at all.
