At my club, there is a chinese player, he's 55 years old and had been a chinese top player 35 years ago. He plays penhold one face with short pips, strong forehand. I tried his blade and forehand, it's great to play, his sponge is very springy, very different as short pips you can find at tt shop. He says he can't find out a same sponge but i think one can get the same with for example a sponge of a tenergy FX, or an other springiness sponge. I will try it as sopon as possible.

TSP Spectol is a great short pips, it's really good for attacking but also has a very awkward ability to create a dead ball when blocking which dips on the table. It was very common before, it might feel awkward to use when changing from Express Ultra but it's a very versatile rubber. You can also try Spectol Speed if you want more attacking speed.
