Good point Raga4. Yeah, you did mention that the place didn't have VOC free glue available. In terms of performance, there's nothing come close to speed glue. I grew up using the stuff for decades. I bet if the ban is lifted (in la la land:)), everyone would switch back to it in a heart beat.

Because of the ban too, that most rubber producers are producing post speed-glue-ban type of rubbers. Rubbers like Tenergy, Calibra and the likes are good examples, giving what the manufacturers said "the speed glue effect" by using VOC free glue. I've tried Tenergy & Calibra with speed glue, and they're insanely superb.

So to answer your question buddy, there are no real advantages/benefits by using VOC free glue, because nowadays you just have to. It sticks your modern high tension rubbers to your blade, and that's it. There's no point using speed glue for 5-6 months without reglueing regularly..you might as well just use VOC free glue for that.:)

I've heard his story Sir and its quite funny but is cool.
It was good old times when Sriver is king. Then Sir KB's eye suddenly saw the Sriver Killer and thought WOW it must be much better than Sriver!
Then he spend much money on sth which turns out to be spinless! xD
But it opens his eye to the wisdom of.. THE DARKSIDE!!

Heard this story @ OOAKForum :)
Anyways welcome to the forum Sir KB :D Its great to see another darksider here!

Wow Sir Az, 1001st post! Congrats and welcome to the club ;P

chugtai, i think tenergy 64 has a similar problem of chipping from the edges as it is also a soft rubber.

you could try the good old Butterfly Sriver or Sriver FX which did not have this problem. There is good spin and control, but not as much speed as a tenergy.

many sites have charts showing spin, speed and control of different surfaces, but they do not have any indication of the durability of these rubbers.

If you do decent blocking of topspins, you could try a harder sheet like in the Bryce series. It will give you a good punch but not that good a loop.

All the best in your efforts to improve, Chugtai.

ty for the comment i am sorry for the late reply i didnt see this thread until now since i posted last time well one of my friends r using bryce on their backhand because it has alot of control i have RAKZA 7 on my forehand now nd its working great i wanted to ask that i want to change my backhand rubber previously i was using tibhar rapid i was suggested by someone to look at stiga boost fx for BH plzzz tell me what should i do ty

Andro Temper Tech Off- (blade)

Andro Hexer HD (rubber) for both forehand and backhand.

Finally got my new blade from Andro, used it for practise yesterday and it felt great. Gotta get used to the extra speed tho, but I think it's gonna be great :)
