1-ply hinoki blades are the most valuable if the Hinoki is very Old. ex : Darker 600 Royal Hinoki

I know Viscaria used to come with black logo and is a very nice blade, if yours has nice "fish scale" markings on the wood surface then it would be quite valuable. Yes I have also heard the old Japanese penhold Hinoki blades made by Bty with black logos are very valuable indeed but I don't know the specifics, there are a few out there which are rare collectibles. I am more into blades which I can play with (I don't think I would dare to play with say a $500 plus blade since if I dent it or something I would feel terrible)
