My WCQ rubber sticks the ball for 4-5 seconds after boosting, that's enough I think. A bunch of stickiness only slow the shots down (I also experiences this thing when using D09C both sides, depends on the tackiness of the rubber, which one is less tackier, that's mean older, I will use for the backhand and tackier one for the forehand, since in backhand I need my rubber shoot it faster for the BH-BH exchange and for the FH I need it more carrying so that I could take the ball more later after the bounce).
Someone will think all spinny shot are better but no, after 3 or 4 shots the opponents gonna adjust with your spin and smash or counter the hell out of your slow spinny one. We just need mainly the grippy characteristics of the rubber, tacky will help dealing in the short game and or addition a little bit more into grippiness, and then we vary our shot based on the situation. Tackiness in the short game is a hack, and it's also help dealing with half-long serves (which you will need a little bit more grippy in thin contact). I agree with the new trend of H3 from DHS, and would love to continue to use it, the game's trend is getting faster and faster. I have used like 5 H3 sheet since I started with chinese rubber, all blue sponge, boosting many times and never met a problem about it degrades or bubble (I use Kai-Lin). The only problem is after reboost the 4rd times, I feel like it isn't hard any more and become too much squishy for me and my shot become less power (the kick when you carry the ball and shoot it), that's when I will get a new sheet.
Not really, same as the h3 N version, rubber and sponge a little different, tackiness I think they are just very similar neo version. Not like the old H3 .

How come Fantastic_muffin said his special H3 can hold up a ball for so long?

I bought the player national version on Aliexpress. At first, it's not really sticky, however it's getting stickier after 2 months, I'm comfortable with it. However, its stickiness is far away from my first provincial blue one, which could stick the ball up to 15 secs :) and while that I moved my hand horizontally too.

From what I understand, tony doesn't understand what a chinese rubber's advantages are.
haha

I'm still waiting for your to give evidence of your nonsense talk that DHS prints Hurricane labeled non hurricane rubbers for the pros.

you have yet to provide solid evidence other than naming ping sunday and some coaches

I think I've seen them on aliexpress marketed as fan zhendong hurricane 3 national, a marketing trick for sure, most likely fake, but it should be a normal hurricane just harder
haha
didn't ping sunday tell you the truth?

Take a look on slow mo of the Chinese players, when they topspin the ball leaves the racket low. And they have a very open racket angle, it's abnormal. A normal hurricane has a medium high throw, that's the evidence. A whole bunch of other stuff like texture and what not.

Yinhe should release pips with Big Dripper, Small Dripper name. That's a high ball that they should not miss.
BTW I really like Yinhe, always recommend their Viscaria clones and Big Dipper to amateurs in the local club.

This thread seems pretty lol so I am not sure if anything valuable should be posted regarding H3.

Myth? Dude, look at slow mo, except if you're both blind, I can't understand how we're seeing different things. Ma long's ball leaves extremely low with very open bat angle. Compared to fan zhendong, that his racket is a lot more closed.

You're the one spreading crap about things that are obvious unless you don't want to do the bare minimum and open youtube slow mo of the Chinese!

From close ups, you can see that their rubbers are matte and the pimples are highly visible, and of course the end of their rubbers lift because of the boosting. Compared to every hurricane I've seen, doesn't matter if its the 3, neo, 8, 3-50, whatever, new ones are glossy with no visible pimples, and of course they don't lift because they're not boosted.

Do your research and if you don't want to, I can send you a bunch of pictures, videos and even articles that prove my point. I know I should send you evidence to prove my claim, so tell me if you want them. I just need some days to put together everything cause there's a shitload of them.

And ffs, I thought it was common knowledge that chinese pros get custom made rubbers from dhs that suit their needs, but obviously you think that your 100€ hurricane 3 is good enough for the best in the world. Hell, there's a reason that dhs sponsors the Chinese team, they say that they sponsor them on the official dhs website!

It's normal too see the pimple after boosted. Not just the player's, if you boosted new h 3, with 3 layers you will have the similar rubber.
is mine normal?
is mine a hurricane top sheet but not a real hurricane rubber, made for the pros? Because of the visibility of the pimples and how my end of the rubber is now curling inwards (opposite to lifting) lol
