Who were your very first TT idols?

First time for me to know TT world's player from video...He was Kong Ling Hui.
After that first video (wttc 2002 schlager vs Kong),I begin to search other video...and I found Chen Qi...
Now,my idol is Ma Long....

Waldner. Back in the 90's I loved him. I still love watching how smart he is as a player and how he does everything well. His blocks, his defense, I love that if he gets backed up and is caught lobbing, he is looking for an opening to take the attack and get back to the table. He might have been the best blocker of all time. Those angle blocks he used would kill his opponents. He is very graceful. If you gave him Kong Linghui, Wang Liqin or Ma Long's forehand he would have never lost. I also like the way he was always calm and composed and you never knew what was going on inside him during a match. He had a real poker face while playing and did not do dumb stuff to taunt his opponent or intimidate or mess with their heads.
