Will HE be the next TTD member? He reads TTD, maybe he sees this and will teach us all some TT. If anything, he can catch Goon Squad members three at a time bare-handed without a trap door setup. He is right at my playing level and I BARELY get by him in a match, like by the thinnest of a thread. NOTHING gets by him and his allround game is 55 times better than mine. Oh, he seems to like some our blades just a little. We are both intending on playing in the tourney this weekend, so you might just be looking at the finalist or WINNER of U2000 event at a tough place to win that division. MDTTC, home to dozens of ringers. He is the dude who makes me look like I am the vertically challenged dude that I am, but man, I do look good in a uniform.

This is funny to me because the first image I had of Der_Echte is the stereotypical Korean male, due to the Korean flag.

I've long since become aware of his actual, far hardier stature, but it's still hard to shake that image out of my head.

I heard a rumor that this thread was to show everyone photo evidence of what a dashing young gentleman Der_Echte actually is. Just look at that charm and panache.

Any of the rumors about him just going to TT clubs and posing for photos will have to be amended because, in written word he may ramble, but that little guy can spin the ball.

I wear my Nexy Uniform on about 1/3 of my pics and my Korea Foreign on most others. But to be fair, when Dan or Der_Echte wears a Stiga uniform, is the goal of the post to promote Stiga? I promote table tennis and the image of people enjoying life around TT. Sure it doesn't hurt to have a small outfit associated with that and it doesn't hurt for Carl to Pimp BBC or Bobpuls either.

MaTT did a vid recently we ought to flood and pound LIKE until Dan's server crashes.

My bearded friend and I were at Maryland National Table Tennis Training Center MDTTC today for a tourney. My friend entered the U2000 and Open events. He won his group 3-0 and face me (I also won my group and advanced) in the first match of the single elimination stage. I was in firm control going up 2-0 pretty much in charge bossing each point until during the break between games 2-3...

I didn't see it, but I think he ingested so POPEYE Spinach somewhere. Like this...

My friend CLEANED MY CLOCK in games 3 and 4...

I think he opened up TWO industrial sized cans of Whoop-em on me...



... then we were close all through game 5, I win on a point after i save 5 powerloops or smashed, I return one from over my head, must have been sidespin, he smashed the last one out.

If he won, he would have gone to finals I say.

One can tell you haven't been reading forums for very long. Otherwise you wouldn't write such an accusation. You can find posts from Der_Echte from roundabout 10 years ago all over the web.
No matter if Australian Forum, German forum, American Forum: he's been there, done that and even got the FREE T-shirt.
And didn't you post the rubber and blade Brand that you use as well? Even though it's just in your profile, it still could be taken as some free ad...

Ooops... Hope i didn't overreact, but i think if Der_Echte wanted to advertise he would be doing it slightly different.

And besides there is so much of Advertisement all across the web, so promoting what you like isn't really an advertisement to me, but more like a personal recommendation.
But in fact he doesn't even really promote the brand. I think i've read more recommendations of a 6$ rubber and some (kinda weird for bystanders) handle manipulations than anything else.

I think the word "Accusation" was a bit extreme. However, your principle of judging over time the total picture is a very sound method to use.

Over time, the ones who have been on internet forums and seen Der_Echte and that no-good BH-Man post, have seen more than enough to tell a story. For a short time, it is possible for anyone to turn into an award winning class of an actor, but it is near impossible to hide ones true character over time given enough sample size. I have provided more than enough sample size.

Anyone watching my posts over time has seen me go from Recreational player, to avid enthusiast amature player in Korea, and to what I am now. Everyone has seen on forums I have been a major contributor before I get into anything business and was in all the forums except for TTD before I was in business... so everyone knows me and may ways BEFORE I was in business. I also stress that TT is an entertainment business and if we make it fun to play AND fun to watch and participate/cheer as a spectator, than it is a blast and can grow.

EDIT: I WAS in TTD years before I was in business !! Shyt !! I have been a TTD member for way longer than I realized.

As for promoting Nexy, I actually promote Nexy at many opportunities in many ways, but my main business strategy is to promote Table Tennis in USA and grow the sport (THINK - Get KIDS and SCHOOLS doing it organized/social/competitive) and have our company associated with growing TT to make the market huge. At that time, the company will do alright. Right now we are a tiny tiny outfit, but we do more effective things to grow the sport at that children level than all the big outfits in USA combined have done. Susan S from SPiN has singlehandedly outdone them too.

Suga D correctly nots that I am not afraid to call it like it si, or at least how I believe it is. That includes praising and supporting Cole from colestt.com, recommending inexpensive Stiga or Galaxy blades as appropriate, making inexpensive modifications and all other stuff that has nothing to do with buying stuff from my business. My CEO and Nexy Korea president might not like it, but I don't care. I will say and do what I think is right, both for the business and for TT / TT forums in general. Sticking ONLY to ones business in recommendations... anyone can see how shallow that would be, yet it is proper to highlight ones products' strengths. Building a new niche and market is not easy, takes a LOT of time, and has a very high failure rate. It is normal evolution for it to be this way.

Here is a few from a few weeks back at one of the league sessions at one of the clubs I am a member (Smash TTC Herndon, VA)

This kid is now on our team for Capitol Super-League Div 2. He is a retriever style player who CAN attack at table when he wants, which isn't very often. I get players to give me ten free points on my serve each match. I am damned LUCKY if I get him to net TWO of my serves the entire match. His overall level is prolly one of the lowest in Div 2 (He plays 1750ish) but he is gunna grow in level every month with play and his training. He can trouble the crap outta many 1900 level players just by getting back serves and returning a LOT of drives and smashes back.

Note, I am wearing a Stiga Kit with ZERO ads that somehow by chance color matched what Daniel was wearing that night.

So, basically, you are saying that if you put this kid and AGold together as a doubles team, they would be a force to recon with and they would be taking prisoners left and right, putting a hurting on the opposition.

You have to warn him then. If that is the case, the goon squad has to be after him already, trying to pin on him illegal use of National and Pro model blades and rubbers. But I bet he's as good as AGold at goon squad evasion tactics learned from Der_Meister himself.
