While it might be a Boll ALC, since it is listed as a custom ALC shakehand and Butterfly does make custom blades for some players, it is likely something designed for him which has a very similar handle and look to a Boll ALC. Unmarked Boll ALCs do look similar to that, but it could have subtle differerences. He has been trying different equipment throughout this year.

I think Ovtcharov is the player who in addition to all the practice puts in the most effort to optimize a few per cent by experimenting with material.

He doesn't look slow, but maybe he feels father time is catching up to him.
