I recently purchased a couple of D05 for my IF.ZLC. I'm a really experienced player that has been playing for almost 30 years, and can't adapt to D05 on the FH, despite being spinner, easier to handle at serves, pushes chops and blocks due to the less bouncier sponge. I cant deny D05 is an impressive rubber that its definitely second to none. Its undeniable that it overcomes T05 in many ways, but unfortunately it requires even better timing and perfect technique in order to take advantage of it's potential at its fullest. In other words: its such an advanced product which is too demanding for most amateurs skills.
Furthermore, the low throw angle it requires some time to adjust If your coming from more lively/higher throw rubbers such as T05 or MXP which are indeed more suited for any amateur.
Just my two cents.
