If you are viewing from front at an angle from the BH side and to the side of the table, the table should not be in the way and you can see both the arm and the body.

But if you are talking about your hand changing the angle of your racket in the middle of your stroke, then CLEARLY, you need to see the arm mechanics regardless of whether you should also see the legs and torso.
