Seems the FFTT has finally reached an agreement to host a major WTT event for 3 years, and where else to host the inaugural tourney but Montpellier - the hometown of the biggest sensations in Europe right now. Montpellier also wants to host the 2027 Worlds.

I think it's good that there's one more Champions event in Europe, way too many events happening in China when it should be trending less.

What do y'all think??

Still a month out, but the players list is out:

They left room for 2 wildcard/WTT nomination players. I hope Satsuki Odo gets a wildcard. She's WR#17 but due to NER of 4 per country she's not included in the entry list. She practically needs it to have a shot at top 16 for WTT Finals Fukuoka. Current top 16 players have the luxury of China Smash and WTT Champions Montpellier. She's gotten to WR#17 with only Feeders and Contenders.

Most probably they will give it to local players

Haven't you heard that CM got cancelled in Chyna?, ML and FZD too btw
Not the first time hearing about this regarding CM, but surely the first mentioning ML and FZD. I think it's uncalled for to cancel the goat and the recent olympic champion, unless there's some kind of a controversy?

Satsuki Odo's forthcoming schedule:
Oct. 22 - 27 Champions Montpellier
Oct. 28 - Nov.2 Contender Muscat (WS and WD)
Nov. 3 - 10 Champions Frankfurt

People were worried about her lack of opportunities, now they should worry about the opposite. Her latest WR is 16th, combined with those anticipations, it's a high chance she can get to Finals.

As a Canadian, I’m legit praying Edward finally gets a result during his inflated rating period 🙏🙏🙏
Well, its the best time he capitalize on it
Once on (the smash and champions), its easier to stay on
