Kihara had the best draw at SC Doha. Now she gets SXY in the 1st round. Odo in same half as KM. Hirano in same half as SXY.
well, they need to prove themselves or else we’ll see another boko boko situation

Just checked some group stage results. Yeh Yi-Tian just continues to impress. She beat Zong Geman, one of China's top juniors.
Yep
Pretty good form
These wins are wonderful for her confidence. Same with 16 year old kuo in the mens. And he had an oceania next, so lovely draw.

WD R16
LEE Hoi Man/KONG Tsz Lam 3-1 S. Mukherjee/A. Mukherjee (14, -7, 10, 5)
The HKG pair lost their way from the middlegame of G2 (5:3, 5:6, 7:11) to the middlegame of G3 (0:5, 1:8, 1210) but came to their senses in time. Kong in particular figured out how to win (deep side-underspin serves and long pushes and not playing safe).

Don’t underestimate Hwan Bae! He nearly beat Kuo, only beat Hwan 3-2

taiwan's team is coming together quite nicely, obviously with lin yun ju, kao cheng jui, feng yi hsin but now i am seeing more of huang yancheng and kuo guanhong (only 16!) who are playing great. definitely going to pay closer attention to these players.
yep, there is Chang Yu-An, U19 no 2 at the moment (still 18)
there is Hung Jing-Kai, 17 years old
so Lin is the oldest among them (he was just the youngest not so long ago if you remember)

yep

I was with Hwan Bae's older brother today.
I know their levels pretty well
I hope Hwans younger brother Won will get chances to participate in tournaments. He’s class as well
