I know you sell Jupiter 3, Bloom Power, Battle 2, Loki Arthur China, and a lot more. What are your top 3 forehand rubbers for offensive performance?
For myself it is Battle 2/MAX PRO 40-41deg, Hurricane 3 41deg and Arthur China. But all players are different :)

Do you know why it is so pricy this day ? Or was it always in your store ? Boosted with one layer of Falco tempo platinium it's the best countertopspin rubber in the world hands down. Truly amazing how you can hammer the opponent topspin. Better than D09c, Bluegrip C2, Victas TDE and other hybrid rubbers.
I'm not a XIOM reseller, so I have to buy these to quite high price as well. I just thought TAU II is a really good rubber similar to H3, but with a bounce, so I wanted to be able to offer this super rubber to my customers :)

Revisiting this rubber in 2024 and I must say it is crazy. Tackiness compared to others ESN hybdrid rubbers (irony is Tau 2 wasn't marketed as an hybrid rubber because of its release before the hybdrid trend) is ridiculous. It can hold the ball for 3-4 sec sometime when ESN hybrids can barely hold it for more than 0.5sec most of the time.

I'm keeping this rubber for a long long time now.

When I first bought Tau2 via a seller on Aliexpress is was around €25 to €30 a sheet. Last time I managed to find a seller in the Philippines who had both red and black sheets in stock and they were about €34ish. You can usually find Tau2 in very limited supply these days, most times only available in black or red only rare to find both colours in stack!! And at a much higher price £70(€80) in some cases!!!

As I’ve said previously Tau 2 is VERY underrated and under used.

but it has gotten rare and expensive sadly, was the Tau series a success in the Asian Market?
Xiom strategy is a bit weird,we couldn´t get the J&H versions neither only the v.
And X is now sold for i think 80.- as flagship modell, some serious wild marketing decisions from Xiom.
As if they want the status quo as equal to BTY pricewise.

So is the Vega China imo, but the Vega China seems far easier to aquire. Also, the very first post in this thread compares the Tau II and the Vega China a little bit...

If you're not able to get your hands on the Tau II, then it might be worth to look at the Vega China. It is mostly available in max., but there is actually one shop in your country that has it in 2mm, so you'd be saving some weight, too, given that it's generally a heavy rubber. This rubber is vastly underrated, has a distinct "metallic" clicking sound and it works well with composite blades.

I also have been wanting to try Tau2 for quite a while, as @yogi_bear said it was similar to h3 so that made me interested.
But it just too hard to get, I dont really want to get it from overseas, and it is not cheap.

I feel the same about J&H rubbers btw, x and h are more interesting, but we got V.
On a sidenote, Xiom also stopped the production of Hugo HAL blade. So i am not sure what is going on, all their best products are not available to me

How is the Spin generation on that, and how is the short game? When was it released?

Its definitely availbale here and its not expensive here.

Very good. Closed or slightly closed racket angle is appropriate imo.
how is the short game?
Kinda like chinese rubbers like H3 Neo if I remember correctly (played it some years ago on my Harimoto ALC), so good control overall.
When was it released?
In Europe? Maybe 2015/16, but don't quote me on that :) . I just know that at that time it was already out in Asia.

Here is Yogi's review from 2018 (because of his review I ended up buying that rubber):

Yeah pretty Strange, they also stopped producing the Michelangelo series of Woods,Lots of people we're playing them.
The new strategy seema to spare on quality and just more Marketing.
Those Hayabusa Blade series looks Like nothing Special.
But i will Not buy a j&h v Version again, was to unstable for me.
And yes looks like Germany ist Not high ob their Release Agenda,i mean WHO pays dignics Money and the Rest of the world gets them for cheap...

Well. It's here in EU for a while back :) https://chtt.se/en/varumarken/xiom/xiomgummi/xiom-tau-ii
But it's not cheap though.
