Check out this guys,, look at the process of selecting a match ball that the pro's use. This is an example of Xu Xin at the World Championships 2010

Only few players select balls.. maybe only top 40-50! rest dont even care..they may notice the erratic ball while playing!

haha i'd use any ball... i remember having to use a 38mm ball once because i forgot to bring my table tennis balls to training haha D

I hope it isn't as big a difference as they make it to seem by testing two boxes of ball before picking one. Otherwise whats the point of spending so much on a nice box of 3 stars if you can't even expect em all to be good?

Yeah, I never really had the luxury of going through a bunch of premium 3 stars to pick my own. Balls in the price range I usually just buy a 3 pack or something and accept what I get.

OMG.. he is selecting each and every ball very deeply , i never thought of this i always use 3 star ball thats it.. i should have also thought abt that now..
