Since I won't be going to the club for a while, I'll only be playing at home. So instead of using my fast tensors (MX-P, EL-P), I'll use Chinese rubbers. The first I intend to try is the Moon, which is probably similair. But for FH, I'm looking at the Big Dipper. I know it's a chinese tacky rubber, but I haven't seen a review in direct comparison with tensors. What are the similarities, differences, and do you need a different technique?

Big Dipper is very similar IMO to a Hurricane Neo, maybe a little faster. For most people, it is cheap enough to just buy and experiment. I used it a lot when rebuilding my forehand and I found it pretty helpful. To get the best out of it, you have to be a brush looper who enjoys making thick contact with the ball.
