New Era is limba outer and triple weave composite so they made cheaper version of Vyzaryz Trinity..

Honestly, Donic should have just sold it for $70. It will be very popular that way instead of pricing it as high as they are doing. They need to target more audience instead of trying to paint themselves as a premium TT brand like BTY and DHS.

Of course it's marketing. ZJK isn't an active player anymore so performance is really not important. What he needs is income, income, income.

...whether that is to pay off gambling debts or not, we'll never know.

But if Donic made such great products, why still use Butterfly stuff at all? He's using BTY edge tape even in this screenshot.

From the same stream (different part maybe) he also announced that inner carbon ZJK blades are coming from Donic.
