I play with the Michael Maze blade, and Tenergy 05 on forehand, Tenergy 25fx in backhand.
The 05 suits my forehand as I play with much spin and it has this "perfect" arch when looping, very easy to control. On the backhand side, I play the 25fx because my backhand is more sort of direct, more close to the table and controlled, but it's really an all round rubber, so I don't have to stay that close. It's really the perfect rubbers for me right now, but you might feel it different of course :)

I've played with several kind of tenergy rubber. I first started with T05fx (max) on my forehand with a 5ply all wood blade. T05fx is an amazing rubber for service en topspin. I think due to the soft sponge in comparison with T05, it has better control and spin.

Nowadays I use T05(max) on a 7 ply hurricane long 3 blade on fh. The speed and spin is incredible But sometimes it is a little bit too fast for over the table spinshot.

I'm also using T05(max) on my backhand on this blade, but I dont think that is a good choice for my backhand, because it is too bouncy and therefore I lost to much feeling.

For backhand I prefer the T64fx max, which is more direct for blocking and has more dwell time to control the ball.

In the past I've also used T64 max on the forehand. But this rubber is not really suitable for close table play. Almost every fh topspin ball went too long. I fond also that the spin is not as good as 05fx max.

The T64 max was a good choice as a* backhand rubber on a 5 ply all wood blade. Further the speed of the T64 max rubber is by far the most fastest rubber of the whole tenergy series.

When the T80 was introduced I bought also a sheet of it to try. It was a T80 max sheet. Before that I've played with T64 max, t64fx max and T05fx max. So there was already a good reference to other series. For speed and spin I woud rate T80 max between T05 max en t64max. T80 max is better for close table play. It is a wel mixed between this 2 kinds of series. Actually my favourite now.

One downside of tenergy rubber is the weight. As I always use max on both fh and bh. The blade is usually very heavy. Maybe one can consider using 2.0 thickniss rubbers instead of 2.2.

I hope that this information can help you out.

Do you think that 05fx would be good for my backhand

All the Tenergy rubbers are good. I have used 64 and 05FX for Backhand. When I was using 05FX I liked it the best. When I switched to 64 I was worried I wouldn't like it as much but after using it for an hour, I felt it was better for BH.

Whichever one you are using is the best one because they really are all great.

But you seem interested to use 05FX. So just go for it. That is a great rubber for a backhand.

But so are 05, 80, 64, 25FX, 05FX, 80FX and 64FX.

In other words, there is only one Tenergy I wouldn't go out of my way to use for BH. That is 25. But when I used it for BH it was pretty decent too.

So just go for the one you want. It will be good.

I drooled all over my T05 when I used it, but it only lasted 4-6 weeks before it headed SOUTH, and it costed WAY too much money AND I wasn't sponsored to get it cheep or free, so OUT it had to go and in came Tibhar rubbers.

All U Rich Beaches who can afford to replace Tenergy every month or two and be happy... I say to you all GREAt that you are happy. Tenergy is obviously the greatest rubber post glue era by a country mile that no maker of rubbers has been able to match, but I have certainly been happy using Aurus and Evo series easily, value has been better.

Yep. What Der_Echte said! I used to have a friend sponsored by Butterfly. So I got Tenergy at an affordable price. But, there really are rubbers that are not quite as good but good enough for a decent amount less.

There is this guy named BH-Man from MyTT who is copying all what Der_Echte is saying. He has a heck of a BH and plays with cheap as Tibhar Rubbers because he can't get his CEO to pay him so he can get some Tenergy rubbers.
