Dude...you literally made the argument that some white people in south africa are not racist because they hire black nannies. If anyone here is not qualified to talk about racism, it sounds like it would be you.
Also, you seem to be confusing free-speech with racism, and also a general misunderstanding of the GOD given right to speak freely. In the United States,, humans, with our ability to form thoughts, are able to freely speak those words out-loud. That in of itself is not racist.
Racism could be simply defined as one group of people (or race) believing they are inherently superior to another race of people, and from that belief, their words, but more importantly, their ACTIONS lead to discrimination and prejudice.
How does this tie in with free speech? Well, in the United States, people are FREE to speak racist thoughts. And as a community, most will FREELY chose to not associate with these types of people. Since you used Trump as an example, the United States voted him out of office. That is the system working. It's actually a beautiful system and right because there are no wolves hiding in sheep clothing, as could be the case in a country that restricts speech. In such a country that restricts free-speech, you may never know how many people are "holding their tongue" to such racist thoughts simply for fear of being punished by the state.
Also, it is important to note that discrimination and hate crimes ARE in fact illegal here in the United States. And often times, a person's free speech are used in conjunction as evidence to prosecute and convict those of hate crimes or discrimination here in the United States.
You should really try and pick up a book from the great Dr. Thomas Sowell. He can teach you a lot about American economics, politics, and racial disparities in the United States as it seems you have a grave misunderstanding about a lot of these things.
Anyways, I digress again. I didn't want to turn this into a long winded discussion about racism or the moral and ethical high ground of one country compared to another but Olduser thought it would be a good idea to say "i don't have a right to speak" about a certain subject while also hurling subtle yet precise insults about the country that I love, i felt it was more than appropriate for me to respond in this manner. Especially when it is a subject I am well-versed in and have participated in many thought provoking conversations about.
See, i don't really care what you call it. It's like ping pong or table tennis. We all know the sport that is being referred to. Even you know what soccer is because your next sentence said "it's football". lol come on man. Are you just arguing to argue now? How about we call it MESSI-Ball?
