She also wasn't wearing her ballistic eye protection, Hemet, or armored vest. TT is a combat after all...
she does not need any kind of protection, have you seen the size of the cameras they use these days ? We did not even get Bazookas that were this size in our wars against the sewer rats...

There's a player at my club who throws his racket when he loses sometimes. I don't understand why an armature player would do that. I would never want to see my $300 set up shatter to pieces lol.
Me too, when I was 10 and playing in a club with my uncle (14 years old), he was losing terribly and at one point, I turned my back to the table to pick up the ball and as I turned around, for a split second I saw a racket flying at me and I got hit in the head, just above the eye (on the eyebrow). It ended up in an emergency room and 3 stitches over the eye. But it was 33 years ago ;) , equipment was not so expensive :p :p

Since you're american and living in a free-speech nation, I don't think you're right to talk about what's happening in Europe in general, and germany specially. Here there are laws against hate speech and all kind of discrimination, free speech is restricted, and it's a good thing. Also the ERCI is always visiting the UE countries and report anything that might be wrong in each nation's policies, we're not in America mate... it's Europe here, when some of our politicians make xenophobic or racist statements, they are sued, and sentenced. Like Jean-Marie Le Pen (father of Marine Lepen), Trump would have never it in France with his hate/xenephobic/sexist/homophobic speeches...

Of course there are still issues with racism here, but it's not open bar like in the US.
Dude...you literally made the argument that some white people in south africa are not racist because they hire black nannies. If anyone here is not qualified to talk about racism, it sounds like it would be you.

Also, you seem to be confusing free-speech with racism, and also a general misunderstanding of the GOD given right to speak freely. In the United States,, humans, with our ability to form thoughts, are able to freely speak those words out-loud. That in of itself is not racist.

Racism could be simply defined as one group of people (or race) believing they are inherently superior to another race of people, and from that belief, their words, but more importantly, their ACTIONS lead to discrimination and prejudice.

How does this tie in with free speech? Well, in the United States, people are FREE to speak racist thoughts. And as a community, most will FREELY chose to not associate with these types of people. Since you used Trump as an example, the United States voted him out of office. That is the system working. It's actually a beautiful system and right because there are no wolves hiding in sheep clothing, as could be the case in a country that restricts speech. In such a country that restricts free-speech, you may never know how many people are "holding their tongue" to such racist thoughts simply for fear of being punished by the state.

Also, it is important to note that discrimination and hate crimes ARE in fact illegal here in the United States. And often times, a person's free speech are used in conjunction as evidence to prosecute and convict those of hate crimes or discrimination here in the United States.

You should really try and pick up a book from the great Dr. Thomas Sowell. He can teach you a lot about American economics, politics, and racial disparities in the United States as it seems you have a grave misunderstanding about a lot of these things.

Anyways, I digress again. I didn't want to turn this into a long winded discussion about racism or the moral and ethical high ground of one country compared to another but Olduser thought it would be a good idea to say "i don't have a right to speak" about a certain subject while also hurling subtle yet precise insults about the country that I love, i felt it was more than appropriate for me to respond in this manner. Especially when it is a subject I am well-versed in and have participated in many thought provoking conversations about.

What is "soccer" ? it's football man, the real one, the original one.
See, i don't really care what you call it. It's like ping pong or table tennis. We all know the sport that is being referred to. Even you know what soccer is because your next sentence said "it's football". lol come on man. Are you just arguing to argue now? How about we call it MESSI-Ball? ;)

I was shocked at Filus. He passed by the poor gal in silence, without offering any excuses. Some boorish barbarian, indeed.

The proper name for your "american football" is Gridiron actually.

And by the way, even Adam Bobrow, who's american, name the football players "footballers", not "soccer players"

Filus might not have even known where the racket ended up after he threw it. Maybe 30 seconds after the throw, Filus's coach walks over to pick up the racket and didn't say a word to the camerawoman either. Thought for sure the coach would've offered an apology and was pretty surprised he didn't.

He knew where the racket was going. The noise was so loud when it struck spectator fencing.
