Apologies for not being able to do a poll (like I've seen others do).

Am I missing something really obvious??

Anyway..... The question is.

If you could get your name on the back of your table tennis shirt, what format would you get?

Option 1: T. Boll
Option 2: Boll
Option 3: Timo Boll
Here, in my provincial town of a third world country, walking into the hall with my name written on the back of my TT-shirt would create a storm of laughter so strong players would roll themselves on the floor , like this : 🤣

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Option 4: Ma Long (First name last, last name first :p )

Also I don't think the poll feature is enabled? Tried the [poll] code but didn't show up as a poll

If the last name is REALLY long, then I go with First Letter of first name then the full last name.

That is my convention for the name.

I also prefer to include the country. eg:

Trouble Maker
USA

I also like to include the team, sometimes the country too

Trouble Maker
Team Tsos

or...

Trouble Maker
USA
Team Tsos

If this is for a club, I prefer the format of 1st name, last name and club underneath

eg:

Trouble Maker
Badd-Azz TTC

maybe the city underneath too if no one recognizes the club...

eg:

Trouble Maker
Badd-Azz TTC
Sufrragette City
I like just the last name. So, the back of my shirt says:

TroubleMaker (one word). :)

That, at least was the shirt Der_Echte made for me back in the day.

Hi Carl,

Which jersey was this one? The V1.0 of the large logo Nexy or another? I mean, I sure would have dun something like that for real, and I know you would have liked it and appreciated the intent, but I just do not remember exactly which shirt this waz.

On another front, I have invested several hundred dollars for my professional image as a coach and player team unit.

I KNOW that I can coach adults better than anyone currently in this metro area, but if I look and act like a clown, I will not attract many players to coach. I have to look and act presentable and professional if I want any chance at building any number of players whose parents or self would desire coaching from me if they see me at a tourney, at the club, or on a pic.

LDM7 bought me a couple jerseys and a tracksuit jacket to present a unified team image for this weekend's TTA tourney (where I hope LDM will make major progress in banishing feeling tight at tourneys and prolly fail at that as it is too early...) but I one and three upped him with an investment in an entire wardrobe of Donic and Xiom jackets and uniform jerseys.

I just got back form the letter shop (another triple digit dollar investment to do 13 pieces lettered) and I have to say, both LDM7, the casual spectator, and the Goon Squad are gunna have to admit we are in it for real and committed.

Hopefully, this Sunday, we will NOT be camera shy and provide many a pic to see.

Hopefully also, and even moar important, will be favorable progress on LDM7's growth in the mental performance aspect... a dammed difficult part of this sport.

The jersey I am wearing in this monumental video we made about how I seal my blades:

I made this video with Der_Echte as camera man and accomplice in comedic actions.

I have heard lots of people ask how to seal a blade. So this is how I do it. And you may see why I do it this way if you watch the video. Think: VERY EASY TO DO!
