LYJ is the only one among the "big 6" from YOG 2018 who has yet to beat Harimoto once in international competitions.

LYJ has such a complete game. And he used low, half long serves to perfection. He overplayed the BH flick early in the match as Tomo was ready for it. But once he settled down on the receives, his better all around skills took over. Whatever happens with WCQ, I'm really liking his progress.

I can only shake my head at those prices. The Champions tournament in Frankfurt was looking for so many volunteers in all kinds of departments (only benefit access to the venue). If WTT does that for every tournament they are trying to save money everywhere they can. Have you heard whether they are making much profit on the events?
Same thing at WTTC, where so many wanted to be volunteer, so they could get close to the players and free ticket/access
But then travel and accommodation requires self funded (I guess if you going to go watch, you would pay those costs already).

Income goes to WTT
I'm not sure how the LOC makes money.... last year I heard many LOC lost money
and last year, players didn't make much money

According to former HKG player TANG Kwok Kei's commentary at Asian Games 2022 (during the SF match between WCT and WCQ), LYJ's game is still too reliant on BH and his FH is still not powerful enough, which is how WCT got him.

Tomokazu "best non-Chinese" Harimoto living up to his billing as talent of the century.

Ouch... That was really bad from Mima. Unless Mima can steal that 2nd spot from Hirano, Japanese Women's Olympic team is going to be Hayata, Hirano, and Miwa.
They could still send Ito and make Miwa the reserve player.

Now that's why I kept telling Ishikawa to retire last Olympic cycle. We may never see the trio of golden generation lay foot on the court together. The opinion on 5ch and Tieba is that Miwa will be chosen over Ito. The pair of Ito/Hayata breaking up is an indication.
