The vendor told me that it was just a different packaging. I wonder if Loki will answer my email. Why bothering with a packaging that is not even in the catalogue ?

Especially the package names the rubber arthur china PRO which indicates at least some kind of difference.
Quite weird

I ordered the usual Arthur China. I never saw this packaging before.

None of my Arthur China bubbled. One is glued since April, heavily played and still no bubble.

I got two that lasted from January until now. 50-60 hrs on each. I transferred one over to a new racket and noticed it was heavily reversed domed so I put a thin layer of Seamoon on it to flatten it out.

That one lasted a couple of months before the edges started separating. I was able to easily separate the topsheet and sponge after that.

So it's true that the earlier batches of some Loki rubber used some weak glue (Rxton 3 pink had that same problem). Rxton 9 and new Rxton 3 Blue I couldn't separate the topsheet no matter how much I tried to pull, so if they're using the same glue now for LAC, I think bubbling issues might he a thing of the past.

I'd be comforted in the fact that you got new packaging since it means it's more likely you didn't get an old batch with weak bond.

Rxton VII test tonight. Not the best opposition to test my limits with it, but still helpful to evaluate if it's a potentiel contender for my backhand. It's glued on my Yinhe Pro 05, unboosted. Measured at 45º Shore-C.

I really liked it. It's bouncier than Arthur China, Arthur Asia, Volant Phoenix 2 37º, Aurora Max Boosted. I made very fast BH attack in the diagonal. I could not really test its ability for blocking, because my opponents were not the right style. I made some nice counter tops though. Anyway, it's worth trying it against my teammates.

I won't make definitive judgement. First, because my impression are worth only for me. Everyone has its own feeling, technique and skills. Second, because it's too soon.

You'll be surprised, but I found it had the same feeling than Gewo Superselect 48º. It does have the same 'clic' than Arthur China, but you feel it has the same kind of sponge treatment. Loki made a really good job with that rubber.

Sounds promising! Can you share some pictures and check the glue bond with the scraps?

Judging by ur photos @Grumms you have the Red 37 degree Rxton 7 right?

I have a sheet Black 39 degree sheet arriving shortly, eager to compare it to my Battle 3 39 thats currently my FH rubber.
Yes, it's the 37º. I think that 39 or 40º would be pretty close from Arthur China.
