Sounds awesome. R7 for bh seems like it could be really good. Why not make a 41d R7 for fh as well
Well they seem to run out of stock of R9 & Telson 100 as soon they produce them. So its probably hard to manage that much variations. They even arent producing telson 100 45° and black color yet.

40° not even listed on HWSport page. I'm curious about why only 2 hardness are available. Anyway, I'm eager to test the Rxton VII.
On the raffle image i shared from the official bilibili channel they listed only 39 & 37 degrees, so my guess is at least for now they will only have those in stock. And probably 37 degrees only RED

Did anyone tried Telson 100 extensively ? If so, what is your feedback ?
i Didnt test it extensively yet but i can share my first experience.
I pasted it on BH of my Loki V7rs (inner carbon Limba top ply) Replacing a Tenergy 64 i been using for a couple months. Played for around 5hs, Teaching a beginners class, a couple of friendly matches & then a 2 hs training session with my partner.

Unboxing & First look
It looks & feel like other japanese style rubbers, clearly a high quality rubber. i didnt smell chemicals or solvents.
The Packaging is pretty cool, good quality.
The surface is just a tiny bit tacky at first but it doesnt come with a film so its clearly supposed to be a non sticky rubber. First impression & test with a ball seems really grippy.

It has a pretty firm sponge, direct comparison with T64 and they look really close. Pore size & color.
Finger test with topsheet fells a bit harder than expected like other reviewers said. T64 feels a tiny bit softer.
You can easily feel the high tension on the rubber.

Here is a simple bounce test vs T64 after playing with it:

First impressions teaching:
Based on review, my first look & finger test i expected the transition from T64 to Telson 100 to be a bit harder but on My first hits i was pleasantly surprised! Driving felt really good & familiar, easy speed & great spin, Blocks were easy to control, you can feel a small catapult on passive shots. pushes & short touch with good control due to the firm sponge & really good spin for a Non tacky rubber.

After teaching different players mainly driving & blocking i felt right at home with Telson 100 on the BH, i think the throw angle its a tiny bit higher than T64 but i think its lower than T05 as far as i remember.

Friendly matches & training:
After teaching i Jump straight to some friendly matches with clubmates. I had a blast testing my usual shots. at first i had to adapt a bit since my clubmates play with more speed & spin than my students, but i quickly played normally. I Even played more agressive BH shots than normal to test the rubber and got a confidence boost since the shots were quite deadly.
I think it has a safe enough arc when looping backspin, blocking & driving near the table.
BH punchs were extreamly fast! The sound it makes is so satisfying too!
At least for my level, technique & my blade i dont think the sponge its so hard to activate, i expected to be harder, it has pretty much the same dwell time than my T64.
After playing some friendly matches my partner arrived & we had our usual training session.
I could feed & block normally during multiball drills, then i tried looping backspin with different arcs (even though i dont have the best BH) hard loops were extreamly fast & the arc was quite low & long, softer more spinny loops where also doable but a bit trickier due to the sponge hardness, with the 45º version those will probably be easier, brushing the ball produced great spin you can really feel the grip on the ball.
I Also tested a bit on FH and i think other players will like it (T05 or G1 users), serving & pushes had really good control & spin, drives & loops are really fast.
Transition from low to high Gears felt good & consistent at least for me, i like to play kind of a soft dead block with loose hand into a hard punchy ball and the speed difference was Great during matches!

My first test indicates that its really a great rubber! Clearly for intermediates/advanced players. The performance & quality surpasses the price by a mile. For amateurs like me i cant really say i will miss T64, i will keep testing & try to get higher level players (that play with T05 both sides) to play with it to compare.

Awesome. I will try to get a sheet for Singles day coming up soon

Are you testing rxton 7 also?

What will be the usage of such a rubber ? It looks like a 37° Jupiter 3. And I tried Jupiter 3 on BH and I found not suited to my BH. Will it be a Arthur China with soft sponge? If so, it could be very interesting.

SpeedControlSpinSpongeHardness
Arthur China111212Kunlun II40
RXTON 711.51212Kunlun III37, 39, 40
RXTON 9121212LOXA III39, 40.5
Telson 100131312Kunlun II37/47.5 ESN, feels more like 38

Some speculation: R7's sponge might be similar and hopefully at least as good as the one from the Telson 100 and from what I've read the Arthur China seems to be already faster than H3. So if the speed ratings from Loki are correct than the R7 37 could be the backhand rubber I'm searching for.
Some sort of hybrid: tacky topsheet + improved power sponge from Telson 100.

I Even played more agressive BH shots than normal to test the rubber and got a confidence boost since the shots were quite deadly.

Playing aggressively is imo the key to using Telson 100. Spinny loops against (heavy) backspin are definitely trickier (for me harder to do than with e.g. my boosted H3 37). What I found interesting/weird is that the T100 allows one to play - up to a certain backspin level - a more aggressive (just forward without much lifting) flick or loop if one does not hesitate. Other way round: With H3 37 I would have played a safer and spinnier flick or loop against these backspin levels and with the T100 I rather pushed heavier backspin than looped.

I hope for a more hybrid feel with the 37 sponge, to better cover that niche at least.

I share a similar experience. I played for some time with boosted H3 37 (on 5ply Korbel) then reactor tornado v5, then LAC and finally R3 pink on my V7rs. I also have experience with H3 37 on my partners Viscaria. Although i just recently started to loop more with my BH, i found that lifting Backhand with more brushing is easier with tacky rubbers at least for me.

Around 2 months ago i lend my R3 pink to a student so i started using a lightly used Tenergy 64 since it was the only Red rubber i had available. Adjusting to the arc, bounce & lack of Tack took a couple sessions but i Adapted. I found that looping vs backspin was easier if i hit forward with confidence and with more hitting than brushing to activate the sponge and use the catapult effect. Brushloops are still possible just a different feeling than with tacky rubbers.

With TELSON 100 the feeling is pretty similar to T64, if i hit more forward with confidence i can loop backspin quite early & be agressive, but the grip make it possible to adjust the arc if needed and brush more.
If Hesitating its hard to lift, probably easier with a softer sponge. "No spin loops" seem to work on those situations.

Can you do a bounce test with telson 100 and arthur europe diamond?

How similar in feeling and performance are these?

Sure i will try record one today. They arent that similar in feeling but bounce & grip are comparable. Ofc i just tested for a bit and on different blades. the AED was previously boosted with a layer of seamoon but its used for quite some time now. What i can say its that grip durability is great on AED, but of the 2, defenitely TELSON 100 made a better first impression out of the box.

What specifically made Telson 100 feel more impressive? Was it the grip? the rebound? the dwell?

@Cadoia you were asking me about new rubbers. I think you should give these new Loki rubbers a try. Rxton 7, Telson 100, maybe rxton 9
right now I might be in the process of destroying 3 dignics rubbers lol. If thats the case I need to spend 240$ on new ones so I hold off with trying more at the moment until I know whats going on with my boosting experiment. :)
