Chinese women playing North Korean women. Wonder if they will be bold and send KM/SXY.

KNT still sending the Olympic lineup even though JJH and Lee Eunhye are unlikely to play next Olympics. I would have thought that Suh Hyo Won would be a better choice against India and Kim Na Yeong would be the next player they want to groom, especially after her performance against Hirano and Ito last week. They're playing Japan tomorrow too if they make it through.

Could be fatigue for SHW and KNY. If not, then it could be that they are not taking any chances. Another reason would be to get the Olympic trio a chance to get used to the main hall and match table.

Another interesting point. @Tony's Table Tennis often mentions how much prep the Chinese team usually gets with tournament balls and the tournament hall. Apparently this tournament is using seamless balls? Also the flooring is slicker than usual. Following so closely after the China Smash these players couldn't have had much time to get used to either (even W32 and LGY made it to the MD finals). Maybe they're not used to not having such special privilege.
And CTTA, which has a say in WTT and ATTU, decided to schedule those two back-to-back?

Also, other teams had access to those beforehand? Check out the JNT's training hall before every Olympics. They also set up a training camp in Paris. Isn't it a little far-fetched to label those as special privilege exclusive to the CNT?

JNT has also sent a ton of staff to the majors, where is the outcry?

I'm been saying since the early of this year, schedule is a mess.
by now everyone is used to back to backs and playing before settling in (maybe accept for CNT)

trying to copy CNT and you call the others an outcry?
come on now, are you saying CNT does not do this, or they are entitled to do it?

JNT had one in Paris 2 weeks before the start of OG
CNT had one in China 2 months before the start of OG
anyone can tell there is a big difference and I have no idea why you are trying to argue against that.

no one can beat China with staff count, especially with the majors. Just look at the spectator stands and see everyone is there from CNT.....

so because JNT is no 2, its okay for China to be no 1 and not have an outcry?
your logic is so flawed

the players are good, but are they super good without any resources?

then you say, many JNT players have no money to travel to WTT.... you really want to compare JNT to CNT?

well, i'm also eager to see, give CNT the same privilege as say Timo Boll or even Hugo, or Aruna

ie, arrive 1 to 2 days before the WTTC (not 2 to 3 weeks) etc
I really like to see how much differences it makes
how much differences it will make? well, could we ever know...
But i'm sure every one would agree that more preparation is better than no preparation and many players have little to no preparations.

If TTD championships does become a thing, zeio and tony will get drawn into the same bracket every time
haha
zeio is probably afraid to come out behind his screen, don't give him a hard time.

many years ago he posted videos of him playing
i wonder why he doesn't do it any more

zeio is almost like ert, talks a lot, but we will never know who he really is

Perhaps not exclusive, but they're certainly more privileged than most.

The schedule being a mess is not the point of contention here. It's the fact that CTTA decided to give up the so called "special privilege" allowed them to slip in and put these 2 events together.

Yet you single out the CNT and cry about it day in, day out? Where are the rules that prohibit one from throwing in the resources?

Now we're comparing the length of training camp? Didn't the other teams have the option of giving up their opportunities to attend the WTT to grab points to secure better seeding? What else can't be blamed when it comes to that?

Are you serious? I counted 28 staff members for JNT for this ATTC. Where is the fairness for the other teams with less than that? Did you voice for them? That doesn't make you much different from those fangirls.

做人公道啲,唔好輸打贏要。
