The schedule being a mess is not the point of contention here. It's the fact that CTTA decided to give up the so called "special privilege" allowed them to slip in and put these 2 events together.

Yet you single out the CNT and cry about it day in, day out? Where are the rules that prohibit one from throwing in the resources?

Now we're comparing the length of training camp? Didn't the other teams have the option of giving up their opportunities to attend the WTT to grab points to secure better seeding? What else can't be blamed when it comes to that?

Are you serious? I counted 28 staff members for JNT for this ATTC. Where is the fairness for the other teams with less than that? Did you voice for them? That doesn't make you much different from those fangirls.

做人公道啲,唔好輸打贏要。
scheduling - you the one who bought that up....short term memory loss there?

no one is talking about rules, but mere, benefits. if you can read, that might help.

you compaing JNT, so I'm helping you to see there is a still a big differences. no2 can't even match no1, so there is a big gap. now if you can't accept it, stop trying to deny it.

fairness - good point, we need to start from the top. CNT :)
then when we done with CNT, we can move over the JNT

I talk facts, now, using JNT to be the shield of CNT, doesn't work I'm afraid.
after CNT is done, I will target JNT with its privileges over many nations too.

That is the different between me and you, I chase facts, no matter if it is WTT or CNT, where I have friends in both of them.
why you are mere arguing with me for the sake of arguing, and bringing out illogical response.

No matter about JNT, CNT is still privileged and you can't hide from that truth. Or is it because Japan can do some things, that makes what China does, off the radar? I really can't understand your logic and all those logic of Chinese netizens against Hayata and the ones who want the whole jnt to retire.
maybe it is a cultural thing since it isn't just 1 person doing it. yeah, its only the chinese netizen who can talk 公道.... lol

About the seamless balls:

We use them at our club, and afaik, all seamless balls are coming out of the same factory.

Here is my experience, which could also be influenced by the tables.

They are hard and bounce more.
Short serves and receives tens to go slightly longer and have more momentum.
The ball keeps it's speed and spin for a longer time.

The bounce on your side will almost always go long, underspin won't make it stop or slow down significantly.

I couldn't watch any of the matches yet, but it could definitely influence the game, considering the players are used to the same 2-3 balls on DHS tables 90% of the time.

Once again, the schedule being a mess is not the point of contention. That doesn't keep CHN/CTTA from postponing the China Smash. I will spell it out. According to your allegation, it would make no logical sense for CHN/CTTA to green-lit WTT and ATTU to put these 2 events together when they knew their players wouldn't have time to enjoy/exercise their so-called special privilege.

How many staff members does the CNT have for ATTC 2024? 21. What now?

zeio is probably afraid to come out behind his screen, don't give him a hard time.

many years ago he posted videos of him playing
i wonder why he doesn't do it any more

zeio is almost like ert, talks a lot, but we will never know who he really is
That's funny. Why should I post new videos of myself just to prove the same thing, when the level displayed in the old ones already suffice in backing up my understanding of the sport and posts over the years?

You've said you can't move well in one of your recent ones. By your own logic, does that downgrade your understanding of the sport?

Harimoto still has work to do. And Japan needs to figure out what the point of sending Kenji and Maharu is when your second or third best singles player is at home. I know it easier a quirk of a world rankings but still...

Once again, JTTA has not been the same ever since the run-in with Miki House (the sponsor for Sato, Hashimoto, Yokoi, Odo et al.) over the WD selection (Ito/Hirano over Ishikawa/HIRANO Sayaka) for WTTC 2015.

Can't wait to see Miyazaki speak about fairness with a straight face after this. Selecting players that you don't trust, don't feel safe and don't want to field in actual matches is fair to them? What's the point of having Oikawa and Matsushita sit there if they couldn't even offload some of the pressure when necessary, the least that they could do? The team lineup is so inflexible they can't even mix it up, every team knows and hence prepares for Harimoto as 1st singles, Togami as 2nd singles and Yoshimura as 3rd singles. The revamped selection system ends up being a farce because of rigidity.

well, JNT set a qualification metric
the players qualify themselves

else, if you allow selectors to choose - it could open up for scrutiny and possibly favoritism.
so in the democratic world, they need to set the qualification and open for the team to all give it a shot.
down fall is, the second or third best player sits at home because he/she messed up in the qualifiers

This is similar in Taiwan where Feng Yi-Hsin failed to make national team in 2023.
Other than smash/champion where he was invited to play, he couldn't play any more WTT due to "not making the national team" as he didn't qualify and his ranking points went to zero as they all expired by the time he made the team again in 2024.... So it was a total disaster and idiotic policy, but that is the rules and the players all know the rules. There are 3 ways to qualify and Feng failed all 3.
