I was already thinking to myself it is a shame, Quadri is playing so well and he is going to lose this and all of sudden he started winning points still playing well. And before game 5, I was like if Quadri wins this, this is the best I have ever seen him play. Then he muted Harimoto throughout game 5 and finished the match off with a backhand countertopspin as a nice touch. There were already glimpses of this in previous losses even to Kallberg so it was great to see it actually win the match rather than just get a moral victory.

Weird take. Considering he's had a career spanning over a decade what specific examples are you referring to? I ask because only the Chinese are much higher rated than he has been over the last decade and he's generally been pretty non-competitive with them.
