If he performs, he will get his chance. My point is that if he was seriously better, it would.be showing up in many places. He wouldn't lose to Xu Xin either lol.true, haha
that is CNT for you
just fillers at most
or practice partner, depending on the moods of management.
rather just leave CNT and play full time in Pro A
better TT life imo
Even if he stopped playing internationally I don’t think he will stop playing nationally for a few more years like Xu Xin, Yan An, etc..Imagine Ma Long retired with last match in Norway and not China
Does Shandong Luneng even have a chance to make it into the top 4?
and FZD shouldn't be loosing to XYB either. If he performs, he will get his chance. My point is that if he was seriously better, it would.be showing up in many places. He wouldn't lose to Xu Xin either lol.
when was it when a 40 year old chopper (who retired from CNT for years) won the chinese national championships.... lolxu xin still got it 🙀🙀🙀
Yes.Do we know if Xu Xin is using his own line of rubber?
Huang Yan-Cheng and Xu YingbinWhat other players use Xu Xin's line of rubber?
FZD already can do what he wants, his need to prove himself in non-critical matches is minimal. He picks and chooses his spots. He obviously didn't want to lose but it doesn't change anything for him. That's why the Chinese don't make decisions based on one match.and FZD shouldn't be loosing to XYB either.
XY also almost beaten LSD
the ball is round.
There is a difference mentally when you are team number 1, or team number 10
its more healthy when you know you are team number 1 and have all the support and resource behind you.
I am amazed you don't understand this logic, as you have followed CNT for a long time.
There is a reason why so many who left, can do so well overseas.
Opportunity to shine is probably one of the reasons.
or who knows, CNT force you to loose against your teammates, or risk being an outcast like Chen Meng?
we will never know how bad the working environment is when wearing the CNT uniform.
PS. There has also been players that shined in CTTSL, but has no value in CNT
yes, and no matter what XYB does, he is already too old like piligrim said.FZD already can do what he wants, his need to prove himself in non-critical matches is minimal. He picks and chooses his spots. He obviously didn't want to lose but it doesn't change anything for him. That's why the Chinese don't make decisions based on one match.
What exactly happened to Chen Meng?yes, and no matter what XYB does, he is already too old like piligrim said.
XYB will never be groomed to be the next Olympian, and we all know that is one of the disadvantages of CNT
I still remember there was a season where ZY did so well, but that doesn't equates to more internationals for him.
and with what happened to Chen Meng, we all know favoritism still plays a huge role in terms of cnt, just like how it was in the 90s
so these out of favor guys, should just go and do their business for teams that cherish them
including Chen Meng
the tt world doesn't evolve around cnt, and european leagues are great places to allow players to have freedom favoritism
you will find out soon enoughWhat exactly happened to Chen Meng?
Really? No favoritism in CNT? that is new to meYou are always given a chance to prove your level. Age is never a part of it beyond logic. If Xu Yingbin starts beating everyone today including foreigners, he will make the team. Nothing to do with age or favoritism.
Okay. It seems what happened to Chen Meng happens to most players when they turn 30. Nothing to write home about unless you explain how it ties into something other than rumors.you will find out soon enough
Really? No favoritism in CNT? that is new to me
okay, lets see when XYB becomes a core player.
IMO he was never good enough when in junior. So I really don't have too high expectations for him.
surprised he made it that far already, but have to give him created for having played something like 16 or 18 matches and only loosing 1 in Pro A 2023/2024 season, i'm sure he is more cherished in his French club than just being a 2nd tier CNT player that can't even get to 8 international events this year. and if it wasn't for China hosting 3 of the 7 events, I doubt he would have played 7 events too in 2024.
Maybe he starts winning more, and CNT coaches makes him a core player... or maybe he will just age as 2nd string.
He does need more league matches though and French Pro A is near half way mark and he is only 0 matches.
I have no idea why he can't play in Nov to Dec in Pro A, his last international was Oct.
Surely you need someone to have the player at heart to manage him, and not someone managing the team at heart and players just need to make way for the "greater good".
Ironically, Xu Xin doesn’t use his own blade anymore, went back to Stiga, at least he uses his rubber tho(?)Yes.
Huang Yan-Cheng and Xu Yingbin
supposedly blade and fh rubber for both (I am sure of HYC)
True. His Main Problem is definitely going to be the amount of up- and coming players with Chen Yuanyu, Huang Youzheng and Wen Ruibo.True, he still has time but the fact is that he doesn’t even do well at Feeders, the lowliest event of WTT. Hence, he doesn’t get selected for bigger events like WTTC, WTTCUP, etc, he did get selected for Asian Champs this year but then again, he didn’t achieve anything.
The problem with this is there are other younger talents like LSD, Xiang Peng, Wen Ruibo, and other in U19 and U15 players that already perform well so it’s more worthy to invest in them
I think XYB has 1 to 2 years to make the cut.I am suprised you guys call Xu Yingbin too old. Lin Gaoyuan and Liang Jingkun had their breakthrough at 22 and 23.
Xu Yingbin will likely not become as dominant as Wang Chuqin or Fan Zhendong. But nevertheless early to late 20s is the peak age where „the best of the rest“ can somewhat keep up with the CNT Superstar players (currently these are Wang Chuqin, Lin Shidong and Fan Zhendong).
I think Xiang Peng is more likely to overtake lin Gaoyuan and Liang Jingkun. But I could see Xu Yingbin do well. The biggest problem is, that only top 5 really benefit of their ranking.
