Well thats a point…I used Gewo Nexxus Superselect 45. The biggest issue is the durability. I checked on revspin, it has very good durability ratings but for me, the topsheet went off (had a huge degradation of color) in just 1.5 months. The rubber was not good after close to 2 months. I normally play 6 hours a week or less. The price of Gewo rubbers is at par with other brands but I am not sure that if I will buy again. Better you opt for Tenergy, if money is not a concern.
So by feeling more Spin on 48 SS do you notice it to be more spin sensitive than T05 too? Espacialy in close Matches when I am out of position to loop it could become more of a Problem. Thats the reason I switch from D05. Incredible offensive rubber but beeing out of position or doing lazy shots is a big no no.I've switched from T05 to EL 48 SuperSelect. Both are similar in terms of looping performance. Tenergy might be slightly faster but definitely feel more spin and control on the 48 SS. The 48 SS is not as pingy as T05 in the short game which was a major reason why I switched.
In terms of durability, I guess it is how much you maintain it (I.E. Wipe the dust off after every couple rallies and keep it enclosed in a case... mine can last me 3-4 months and I play a lot!
I hope they are getting them for free!!A good bench mark is rubbers normally last 80 to 120 hours of usage - under good rubber care/storage.
but some rubbers just don't last long, ie I have mates who change K3 once a week, or about 30 hours of usage,
yeah, Tibhar sponsoredI hope they are getting them for free!!

I train about 8-10h weekly and matches on WE. Rubbers are protected with a sheet und I clean them after every Training.

You will always feel that Tenergy is a more responsive rubber which demands active play. The best part here is the balance between speed and spin which is very unique to butterfly rubbers. I have played Tenergy 05 for 4 years consistently on my forehand and I found it to be a very good rubber for putting spin on the ball. The way it bites the ball is something which I am not able to find as an exact match to other brands. Additionally, Butterfly does not use Tensor technology, they have their in-house development which is Spring sponge or spring sponge X. Though these terms might mean nothing to a hobby player like me, but I can surely say that the lifespan of tenergy reduces gradually and I never experienced a sudden drop in performance.Well thats a point…
Feel like T05 is King of FH from reading several posts.
Can you also compare the rubbers about playing characteristics?
